Q.E. International was founded in 1979. Over the years, our company has built up a reputation for solving a broad range of noise pollution problems in countless industries worldwide.
For example, in the petrochemical industry, where vent silencers temper the noise of venting hot gases at high pressure
. Equally purpose-oriented are the pulsation dampeners for the compressors. These reduce the noise and also protect the installation from damage caused by the pressure impulses. Many installations have to meet the safety requirements of national, state or local ordinances and those of specialised agencies. In these cases
Q.E. International prepares all of the calculations and obtains the mandatory approval. Power plants can come to us for help in reducing the exhaust noise levels from diesel engines in operation. To work comfortably in an environment unpolluted by noise, the industry can count on Q.E. International.
Vent Silencers
Noise is a common problem when working with vents, what if that noise can be reduced to a minimum? We are working towards a quieter industrial environment.
Dampeners
Compressors are an important item in many production processes. Undamped roots-type rotary piston blowers and screw compressors generate high noise levels that may exceed 160 dB(A). Hereby inducing damage into the piping and its adjuncts caused by low-frequency pulsations.
Diffusers
Valves cause a pressure drops in gas or steam networks which are usually accompanied by high levels of noise generation.
Reducing this pressure drop also reduces the generated noise. We provide solutions in the form of noise-attenuating diffusers, located directly downstream of the valve. Using this method the noise attenuating is compact and demands no maintenance
